Advanced Open water course
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is designed to enhance your diving skills in several specialty areas while gaining supervised experience.
It consists of five open water dives in specialist diving areas, including deep and navigation.
Once we finish the course, the student will be qualified to dive to 30 meters in similar or better conditions than in training.
On our regular 2 days in Cozumel course, the first day we do it from our beach, where we will do three dives peak performance buoyancy, navigation, and fish id/night dive, the second day, we go to our boat where we will sail to the south part of Cozumel’s nature reserve and complete your last two dives deep and drift/wreck.

Day 1
1:30 pm – Meet at Barefoot Dive Center, Cozumel
2:00 pm to 2:30 pm – Paperwork and gear fitting
2:30 pm to 3:15 pm – Theory session
3:15 pm to 4:00 pm – Transportation to Tikila beach & equipment preparation
4:00 pm to 6:30 pm – Briefing & diving (PPB & Navigation)
6:30 pm to 7:00 pm – Rest and sandwich
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm – Briefing & night dive
8:30 pm to 9:30 pm – Transportation back to the dive shop and day summarizing.
Day 2
8:45 am – Meet at Barefoot Dive Center, Cozumel
8:45 am to 9:30 pm – Gear preparation and transportation to the Boat
9:30 pm to 10:30 pm – Briefing while sailing to the first dive site (deep dive)
11:30 pm to 12:00 pm – Mexican style freshly made lunch on the boat
12:30 pm to 2:00 pm – Briefing while sailing to the second dive site (drift dive)
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Transportation back to the dive shop and day summarizing
